Full Time Professional Staff

Director of Residence Life
The Director of Residence Life is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for Residence Life. This includes working with staff and students to manage the day-to-day residential experience as well as working closely with faculty and staff across campus to ensure residential functions and needs are met.
Associate Director of Residential Education
The Associate Director of Residential Education provides guidance and oversight to departmental staff members and processes. This person supervises Resident Directors, and reports directly to the Director of Residence Life. The Associate Director of Residential Education represents the department on a variety of campus committees, and oversees the arrangements for Student Staff Selection, Student Staff Training, Faculty in Residence, and the ACCESS Curriculum.
Assistant Director of Housing Operations
The Assistant Director of Housing Operations oversees the day-to-day housing operations of the department including residence hall facilities, housing projections, technology management, health & safety issues, keys & card access, furnishings, housing accommodations, room changes, and housing assignments. Much of this work is done in collaboration with the Resident Directors for each respective residence hall. This person also supervises the Graduate Assistant for Housing Operations and all Mail Assistants. The Assistant Director of Housing Operations reports directly to the Director of Residence Life.
Office Manager and Accountant
The Office Manager and Accountant assists with the overall management of Residence Life via a large amount of support and involvement in a number of departmental projects and initiatives. This person reports directly to the Director of Residence Life. In their role, they perform complex and confidential clerical duties, maintain comprehensive records and files, prepare forms and reports, serve as the liaison to student employment and payroll, and provide organization and oversight of the departmental budget.
Resident Director
The Resident Director (RD) is a master's level, full-time, live-in professional staff member responsible for the educational direction and overall functionality of the residence halls. They provide direct support and supervision to the ARDs, Desk Receptionists and Office Assistants within each of the halls they oversee. Additionally, they indirectly supervise the paraprofessional staff in collaboration with the ARDs. The RD cultivates positive atmospheres conducive to personal growth and successful academic progress for residents through work on numerous departmental projects. They also adjudicate policy violations under the purview of the Community Standards office and respond to emergency situations.

Part Time Graduate Staff
Assistant Resident Director
The Assistant Resident Director (ARDs) is a master's seeking, part-time, live-in graduate student who works closely with the RDs on the overall functionality of the residence halls. They provide direct support and supervision to the Desk and Paraprofessional Staff (through programming) in the residence hall they oversee. The ARD cultivates positive atmospheres conducive to personal growth and successful academic progress for residents. They also adjudicate policy violations under the purview of the Community Standards office and respond to emergency situations.
Graduate Assistant, Housing Operations
The Graduate Assistant for Housing Operations assists with the day-to-day housing operations of the department including residence hall facilities, technology management, keys & card access, housing accommodations, room changes, and housing assignments. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Housing Operations, this person also provides direct support and supervision to the Mail Assistant staff.
